Marketing Coordinator



RCG is looking for an organized and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will help our team make great things happen for our clients. You’ll be working with and supporting our account service and media teams in keeping creative projects moving, media schedules up-to-date and our clients informed and happy. The right candidate will have the opportunity to do a little bit of everything while learning tricks of the trade from some of the most experienced advertising pros in the business. Best of all, you’ll be a member of a team who really cares about each other and the quality of the work we do for our amazing clients.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist the media team with all tasks including but not limited to:
    – Opening media campaign estimates
    – Media makegoods, and auditing invoices for assigned clients
    – Coordinating invoice reconciliations with accounting team
    – Traffic media schedules and coordinate distribution of creative assets
    as needed
    – Maintain client files and media files.
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with media vendors in multiple markets, primarily using email and phone. Treat each in a fair and ethical manner.
  • Support the RCG Contractor marketing team and clients:
    – Budget flow chart management
    – Manage and maintain client media dashboards
    – Market research for existing clients and prospecting efforts
    – RCG Contractor Marketing social media management
    – Back-end reporting management
    – Media task management
  • Attend weekly client service and media department meetings.
  • Special projects as assigned and participating in Contractor Marketing meetings, tradeshows, and events.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with internal and client teams.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with some awesome people.

What We Would Like To See:

  • Ability to multi-task, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability and willingness to recognize and clarify ambiguous requests to ensure you are working to solve the right problem vs. just taking an order.
  • Ability to navigate fast turnarounds.
  • Ability to use diplomacy to balance shifting priorities.
