About KSNB: 

KSNB Local4, based in Hastings, is the NBC affiliate in the Lincoln, Hastings, Kearney market. Local4’s commitment to hyper-local coverage of the Grand Island-Hastings-Kearney community sets it apart from its competition and makes it a growing brand in Central Nebraska.

General Responsibilities: 

– Contribute to newscasts as needed.
– Assist reporters while in the field.
– Help provide content for Local4 digital and social media platforms.

– Interest in journalism and the broadcast field.
– Pursuing a journalism degree or related.
– Available to work 10-15 hours a week throughout the spring semester.
– Strong communication and writing skills.
– Motivation to learn and sharped broadcast skills.
– A team player willing to work collaboratively with other newsroom members.
