AAF Nebraska Lifetime Member and AAF Silver Medal Honoree
Rosalee Robers APR, Fellow PRSA
1943 – 2025
Rosalee Roberts was a dedicated and longtime member of the American Advertising Federation Nebraska (AAF Nebraska), where she left a lasting impact through her tireless service and passion for the advertising community. In recognition of her years of commitment, Rosalee was honored with lifetime membership in the organization in 2015.
Professionally, Rosalee had a distinguished career in broadcasting and public affairs. She served as promotion manager public affairs director, at KETV, Omaha, from 1969-1973 prior to joining Bozell and Jacobs in 1973. A year later at Bozell was named the director of public relations. During Rosalee’s time at KETV she was also on-air talent for two public service programs.
Her work in the industry went far beyond the airwaves—Rosalee was a connector, a storyteller, and a passionate advocate for causes that mattered. Through her public affairs programming, she gave voice to countless nonprofit organizations, civic initiatives, and community stories that might have otherwise gone unheard.
Rosalee’s commitment to service extended to her volunteer work with AAF Nebraska. She was an active and generous member, serving on numerous committees over the years, including Government Relations, Public Service, and Education. In 2006, she was a key Steering Committee Member for the federation’s 100th Anniversary Gala, helping to honor and preserve the rich history of the organization that was founded in 1906.
In 1997, Rosalee received AAF Nebraska’s highest honor, the Silver Medal Award. This prestigious recognition is given to a member who demonstrates a high degree of creative, original thinking, a commitment to the advancement of advertising, and a dedication to raising the standards and stature of the profession. Recipients also exemplify service beyond the workplace, contributing meaningfully to civic and social welfare causes—qualities Rosalee embodied wholeheartedly.
Her thoughtful leadership, generous spirit, and unwavering support of the advertising and broadcasting industries—and the community at large—will always be remembered and deeply missed. Rosalee’s dedication to fostering the next generation of advertising, marketing, and public relations students left a lasting legacy. In her memory, March 2026 AAF Nebraska will proudly sponsor a student scholarship at our Meet the Pros event in Rosalee’s name — a tribute to her passion for guiding and inspiring future professionals.
AAF Nebraska’s membership will miss Rosalee’s kindness, her wisdom, and her unwavering commitment to helping others succeed.
