As marketers and expert communicators, we often know the right things to say. But during these current times involving racial tensions, many agencies have struggled to find the words to express their support for the Black community – particularly in our industry. For that reason, Bozell has partnered with AAF Omaha to create the ADvance Omaha Fund—an initiative focused on closing the diversity hiring gap, starting with our very own marketing and advertising communities right here in Omaha.
In an effort to support a more diverse group of creatives, marketers and developers in Omaha, we created the ADvance Omaha Fund and 11 agencies contributed $28,150. These donations will go directly toward the following local organizations:
While the fund is now complete, we plan to continue an ongoing partnership with these four nonprofits through our Diversity and Inclusion committee. If you would like to learn more about how you can participate, please email Teri Hamburger at aafomaha.teri@gmail.com.
Thank you in advance for your considered participation. We believe firmly in the mission behind this initiative, and we hope you feel the same. It’s time to make a difference, and that difference starts today.
