On behalf of AAF Government Affairs Chair, Carla Michelotti, I am pleased to invite you to the next online meeting of AAF’s Government Affairs Committee Wednesday, February 23 at 3:30 pm Eastern Time (2:30 Central, 1:30 Mountain and 12:30 Pacific).
Our special guest for the meeting will be Eric D. Reicin, President and Chief Executive Officer, BBB National Programs. BBB National Programs is a nonprofit that operates more than a dozen national industry self-regulatory accountability programs in the areas of advertising, child-directed marketing, privacy, and dispute resolution. In advertising, BBB National Programs administers the National Advertising Division, Children’s Advertising Review Unit, Children’s Food and Beverage Advertising Initiative, the Digital Advertising Accountability Program, and the National Advertising Review Board. Carla sits on the BBB National Programs Board of Directors.
Eric will discuss these important programs, and we are asking that he also give us an update on self-regulation’s potential role going forward as it may impact social media advertising and ad monetization.
