AAF Chattanooga:
Giving Back

This year, AAF Chattanooga continued its holiday tradition of hosting an annual donation drive for the Mary Walker Towers, Senior Assisted Living Community. At donation bins located around the Chattanooga area, club members collected items for residents, such as cleaning supplies, combs/brushes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, hand soap, socks, winter gloves, sweaters and hats. As an incentive for members to donate, the Club offered free drink tickets at AAF Chattanooga’s annual holiday party for those who bring a donation. Club members assembled gift bags afterward to share with the residents of the community as they celebrate the holidays at the Mary Walker Towers Christmas party.

Ad2 Pittsburgh:
Making the Season Bright

Juice, a monthly happy hour hosted by the Pittsburgh Advertising Federation and Ad2 Pittsburgh, is aimed at advertising professionals who share a passion for advertising and the important role it plays in the continued growth of Pittsburgh, elevated its mission this year with a toy drive for children.

This month, the Ad2 team decided to make the 2015 event a bit more special by collecting donations for a Toys for Tots drive that will help put toys under the tree for children in Pittsburgh and the surrounding region. To add a little spice, the Ad2 team decided to make this a bit of a competition between agencies by stating, “whichever agency collects the most toys wins bragging rights and the warm, fuzzy feeling that comes along with lending a helping hand. So bring a toy, grab a drink and help us make this season bright!”

The Ad2 team that put this event together consisted of: Ashley Hauser for the designs, Maria Zankey for the elf inspired copy, Tiff Setzler for helping organize the drive, Tom Higgins for coordinating with Toys for Tots, Chris Jezeowicz, Vice-President of Ad2, Darice Nagy, President of Ad2, and Ted Walzl, President of the Pittsburgh Advertising Federation.
