Hello AAF Nebraska members and advertising community,
As we settle into fall, I wanted to take a moment to check in with you all and share some exciting updates on what we’ve been up to. We’ve had a great start to the federation year—our committees have been forming, meeting, and actively planning a range of events, programs, and workshops designed to help you thrive as advertising professionals.
This summer we were busy co-hosting a successful ON Brand Conference with more than 200 advertising, marketing, and communication professionals attending the day-long conference. In August, we held our annual meeting and introduced our membership to our new Board of Directors and honored our student scholarship winners with a day with AAF Nebraska members.
In September and October, we had the privilege of connecting with students through a variety of activities. We hosted AdVenture+ at the UNL Experience Lab, offering invaluable insights to aspiring professionals. Additionally, our team participated in AdVenture on Creighton University’s campus, working with high school students attending the Nebraska State DECA Conference. Our leadership has also been busy visiting classrooms at UNL, UNO, and Creighton, as well as engaging in the UNO Chancellor’s Workforce Symposiums. It’s been incredible to see the energy and enthusiasm from students and professionals alike, and we’re just getting started!
As we move into the heart of fall, be sure to keep an eye on your inbox for updates on upcoming professional development programs and networking events. Whether it’s workshops, webinars, or fun gatherings with your peers, we have a lot planned to support your growth and connection within the advertising community. Be sure to mark your calendar for the AAF Nebraska holiday party and silent auction on December 11th.
