Ad 2 Kansas City:
Winter Highlights
Ad 2 KC kicked off the year with a mic drop—literally. Its Board of Directors bonded while belting their hearts out at the mid-year retreat, held at a local karaoke lounge. Later in January, Ad 2 KC hosted its monthly Ad Hops at a local Kansas City agency and were able to introduce some new potential student members to Ad 2 during the event.
Next up, the club is looking forward to the American Advertising Awards—complete with swag sales benefitting its Public Service client. Ad 2 KC will also be holding its annual speed-interviewing internship event, Match KC, at the end of the month!

Call For Nominations
The Barton A. Cummings Gold Medal Award was established by the AAF Board of Directors in 1994 to recognize distinguished individuals for their volunteer service to advertising through work with the AAF. The award is named in honor of the late Bart Cummings, former CEO of Compton Advertising (now Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising), whose extraordinary career was dedicated to industry service and to advance the social and economic values of advertising.
