Letter from the Outgoing President, Cassi Warren

Dear AAF Nebraska Members,

As I reflect on this remarkable year of presidency, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude. Together, we achieved unprecedented success, significantly highlighted by being named AAF Division 3 Club of the Year for the third year in a row and taking first place in Club Operations. Our combined efforts also secured third place in Cornerstone Initiatives and Events, Membership Development and Communications, and Public Service.

Entering this pivotal year, our ambition was to “Adapt, Innovate, and Transform” the federation. Our previous leadership skillfully guided us through the pandemic, and our Executive Committee’s goal was to reimagine our community and drive our members and industry forward in Nebraska. Our mission to advocate, educate, inspire, and foster an inclusive community remains steadfast. However, we know that the programming and opportunities we create must evolve.

Our club goals focused on enhancing our mission and culture, professional development, engagement, and fiscal planning. We achieved these goals through purposeful outreach, unique events, maintaining financial resilience, and creative communications.

We are set to end the year with a modest surplus, reflecting our sound financial stewardship. This financial stability allows us to continue to offer scholarships and vital programming to our members.

Thank you to each of the AAF Nebraska Board Members who spent tireless hours and energy focused on achieving these goals and creating excellent opportunities for our members to connect and share our passion of advertising.

I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Chris LaCroix as he steps in as the 2024-2025 President. I am confident that under his leadership, AAF Nebraska will continue to thrive and achieve great things.

Thank you to each Board member and volunteer for your unwavering dedication. Together, we have set a strong foundation for future success.

Warm regards,
Cassi Warren
Chairperson, AAF Nebraska
