PENNY HATCHELL RECEIVES AAF OMAHA’S HIGHEST HONOR

OMAHA, NE (February 24, 2020) Penny Hatchell, president/owner of Envoy Inc., received the American Advertising Federation Omaha’s (AAF Omaha) top honor, the Silver Medal. The award was presented to Hatchell during the 2020 American Advertising Awards | Nebraska ADDYs show, Saturday, February 22, 2020, at the Scoular Ballroom in Omaha.

The Silver Medal is given to an AAF Omaha member who has achieved success in his or her career, has shown a consistently high degree of creative and original thinking in work endeavors, has strived to increase the stature and raise the standards of the advertising profession and has been active in civic groups, including AAF Omaha itself.

Hatchell has held numerous volunteer board positions with AAF Omaha over the past 20 years. Most notably, Hatchell served on the federation’s Executive Board from 2005 through 2009, serving two years as Second Vice President and chair of the Membership team and two years as First Vice President/Treasure. Hatchell has been active on AAF Omaha’s Public Service projects and on the Membership and Legislative Issues committees. The staff at Envoy, Inc. continue to actively volunteer to help keep AAF Omaha’s website in tiptop shape.

Hatchell has been with Envoy, Inc. since 1991. She became an owner/partner of Envoy, Inc. in 2003. Hatchell has more than 35 years of direct marketing, printing and advertising experience with some of the largest direct marketers in the nation.

Hatchell has also served on the board of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Omaha, the Mid America Direct Marketing Association and the Westside/Westgate Athletic Association. In addition, she has served as a diplomate for the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce and on an advisory committee for Westside School District.
