AAF National Leadership Elected

AAF Elects Tara Walpert Levy of Google as Board Chair and Lynn Lewis of UM Worldwide as Vice Chair for 3rd Consecutive Year of Female Leadership
WASHINGTON DC, July 8, 2019—The American Advertising Federation (AAF) today announced that Tara Walpert Levy, Vice President of Agency and Brand Solutions at Google will serve as Chair of the National Board of Directors, July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. Lynn Lewis, US CEO at UM Worldwide, will serve alongside Levy as the Vice Chair of the Board during this time.

Steve Pacheco, who was recently named as the organization’s new President & CEO, commented, “I am excited about working with these two advertising industry leaders on elevating the AAF brand and attracting even more great talent to the advertising industry. Both Tara and Lynn are former Advertising Hall of Achievement award winners (in 2013) and they share a passion for developing young talent and mentoring tomorrow’s advertising leaders.”

The AAF’s Board of Directors guides and oversees the Federation’s signature events   and initiatives, including the Advertising Hall of Fame, the Advertising Hall of Achievement, the American Advertising Awards, the National Student Advertising Competition, the Mosaic Awards, the Most Promising Multicultural Students ProgramAdCamp  and the Institute for Advertising Ethics—all serving the Federation’s 40,000 professional members nationwide, 5,000 student members and nearly 100 corporate members spanning media companies, advertisers and agencies.
