Anne Kierig Joins the American Advertising Federation

WASHINGTON, DC – MAY 28, 2026 The American Advertising Federation (AAF), “The Unifying Voice for Advertising,” announced today that Anne Kierig will be joining as Vice President, Government Affairs. She will succeed Clark Rector, who is retiring after 37 years with the AAF. Anne comes from Amazon, where she most recently served as Senior Manager of Public Policy. AAF Announces the 75th Anniversary of the Advertising Hall of Fame

NEW YORK, DECEMBER 16, 2025 – On the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the AAF Advertising Hall of Fame (AHOF), the esteemed Council of Judges, led by Chair Ross Martin, President of Known and Vice Chair Rita Ferro, President of Disney Advertising, has chosen to induct six legendary leaders along with one corporate honoree and two special President’s Award recipients. AAF Nebraska Legislative Update | April 2024

Omaha, NE (April 3, 2024) – The AAF Nebraska Legislative committee has focused on opposing LB 1354, the Advertising Services Tax Act.  The Nebraska Governor is proposing to implement a 7.5% tax on all advertising services in the state for companies with over $1 billion in US revenue.  The tax will be passed through to local businesses in the form of either higher advertising cost or as a line item on the invoice for the service provider.  The local business will then add the higher advertising cost to the price of its goods and services, causing higher prices for Nebraska Consumers.
