SKAR POSTER WINS PRINT ADVERTISING AWARD FOR NEBRASKA LOTTERY
OMAHA, Neb. (Nov. 2, 2015) A poster created by SKAR Advertising http://bit.ly/1P5WYWc promoting the “Summer 7s Giveaway” for the Nebraska Lottery won a prestigious “Batchy” Award at the 2015 convention of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL).
Batchy Awards salute creative achievements by members of NASPL, a group of 52 lotteries throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The award is named in honor of the late Ralph Batch, elected first president of NASPL in 1971.
The Nebraska Lottery won in the print advertising category for a poster in which the figure 7 appeared in seven summertime photos, including the arrangement of seeds in a watermelon, the shape of a straw in a glass of iced tea and the pattern of markings on a butterfly. The poster highlighted a promotion for the Nebraska Lottery’s Sizzling Summer 7s Scratch games. SKAR began representing the Nebraska Lottery in 2009.
