AAF Nebraska Announces 2026/2027 Scholarship Recipients
Three University of Nebraska at Kearney Students Awarded for Academic Excellence and Industry Commitment
Omaha, Neb. — [April 30, 2026] — The American Advertising Federation Nebraska (AAF Nebraska) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026/2027 Scholarship Awards, recognizing outstanding students pursuing careers in advertising, marketing, communications, public relations, and related creative fields.
This year, AAF Nebraska awarded three scholarships of $2,000 each to deserving students from the University of Nebraska at Kearney:
- Gracie Boe — $2,000
- Laura Carnahan — $2,000
- Brianna Jorgenson — $2,000
The AAF Nebraska Scholarship Program supports students who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential, and a passion for the advertising and communications industry.
Eligible applicants must have completed the first semester of their junior year in an advertising, marketing, communications, public relations, or visual communication/design major; maintain at least a 3.0 GPA; be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours; participate in a student advertising club or AAF chapter; attend AAF Nebraska’s Meet the Pros educational conference; and show a clear commitment to the field through extracurricular involvement, internships, work history, or related experiences such as AAF Nebraska’s AdVenture+ conference.
“These scholarship recipients represent the future of our industry,” said Cody Felber, President of AAF Nebraska. “Their academic dedication, leadership, and passion for creative communications are exactly what our profession needs. We are proud to invest in these students as they continue to shape the future of advertising in Nebraska and beyond.”
AAF Nebraska’s scholarship program is made possible through its endowment funds and ongoing commitment to supporting the next generation of talent across the state.
“These students stood out not only for their academic achievements, but also for their involvement beyond the classroom,” said Shana Boyd, AAF Nebraska Board Member. “Their extracurricular activities, leadership experiences, and demonstrated enthusiasm for the industry made them exceptional candidates. We are honored to support their educational journeys and celebrate their accomplishments,” said Brad Gould, AAF Nebraska Board Member.
Scholarship recipients have the opportunity to serve as Student Ambassadors during the ON Brand 2026 Conference on July 16 in Omaha, further connecting them with professionals and experiences that can shape their future careers. They will be honored at AAF Nebraska’s Annual Meeting in August.
