On March 11 (postponed – will reschedule and let members know new date), AAF Nebraska will take its voice to the heart of state government during Day Under the Dome at the Nebraska State Capitol in Lincoln.
This annual advocacy day brings together members of AAF Nebraska’s Legislative team to engage directly with Nebraska state senators and share an important message: advertising is a vital driver of Nebraska’s economy and a powerful source of jobs across the state.
Throughout the day, our team will walk the halls of the Capitol, meeting one-on-one with legislators to highlight the economic impact of advertising, marketing, and communications—from supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs to strengthening major industries and fueling workforce development. These conversations help ensure lawmakers understand how a strong, innovative advertising industry contributes to Nebraska’s growth and competitiveness.
Day Under the Dome is more than a visit, it’s an opportunity to build relationships, advocate for our profession, and reinforce the value creative and strategic marketing brings to communities statewide. By sharing real-world examples and industry insights, AAF Nebraska helps shape informed policy discussions that affect agencies, brands, media companies, and the talent that powers them.
AAF Nebraska is proud to represent our members and the broader advertising community at the Capitol and to continue championing an industry that plays a meaningful role in Nebraska’s economic future.
If you would like to join AAF Nebraska leaders in Lincoln on March 11th please contact Robert Richardson, AAF Nebraska Board Member and Chairman of the Legislative Committee.
