Important update regarding LB1354 – the “Advertising Services Tax Act,” a hearing in front of the Revenue Committee has been scheduled for February 1st. Your support is crucial in our efforts to oppose this bill.
As members of the American Advertising Federation Nebraska (AAF Nebraska), we share a common goal of protecting and promoting the advertising industry throughout our state. With over 275 professional and student members, AAF Nebraska is the unifying voice for advertising in Nebraska, and together, we can make a difference.
LB1354 poses a significant threat to our industry, and we are resolutely opposed to it. We believe that taxing advertising in Nebraska could have far-reaching and detrimental consequences for our businesses, job growth, and economic prosperity.
This is moving quickly as the bill was introduced less than two weeks ago and just recently scheduled for hearing.
Here’s how you can take immediate action to help us oppose LB1354:
Testify before the Revenue Committee on February 1:
The LB1354 hearing is scheduled for Room 1524 at 1:30 PM on February 1st. It is the third bill on the agenda.

Send a letter in opposition to the bill before 8:00 AM on February 1:
