The American Advertising Federation Omaha (AAF Omaha) is honored to have received “Club of the Year” recognition from the American Advertising Federations (AAF) District 9 on July 29th in Kansas City during the district’s annual Leadership Conference. The AAF District 9 includes eleven clubs from Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and Kansas.
The AAF Club Achievement competition includes eight categories Advertising Education, Club Management, Communications, Diversity & Multiculturalism, Government Relations, Membership, Programs and Public Service. The different categories provide an opportunity to present a comprehensive look at club programs, events and initiatives over the last year. Entries in each category are judged on goals, strategies and results.
AAF Omaha received awards this year in six of the eight Club Achievement categories. Awards were presented during the national American Advertising Federation annual conference ADMERICA June 7-10, 2017 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Recognition for lots of hard work and dedication is always gratifying. However, AAF Omaha would not be strong in our community without the support and involvement of our members. We thank our membership and the Omaha advertising community for their support and involvement in winning these national and district awards.

AAF Omaha educates members on the latest trends in technology, creativity and marketing through seminars, monthly luncheon speakers, and ongoing communication initiatives. In addition, AAF Omaha offers members networking opportunities to assist members in expanding client and referral lists, as well as leadership opportunities for professional growth and development, offering the opportunity to broaden members’ appeal in the job market.
AAF Omaha protects and promotes advertising at all levels of government through grassroots activities. The nationwide AAF network monitors advertising-related legislation on local, state and federal levels. AAF Omaha puts our members face to face with influential lawmakers and also encourages industry self-regulation as a preemptor to government intervention, when appropriate.
