The Program team would like to share the responses from the September 20th AdBites: Respecting the Remix: How to Surprise The Unsurprise-able Generation?

We heard the secrets to surprising the unsurprised-able generation from Molly Griffin and Brandon Painter of Barkley-Kansas City during our AdBites professional development luncheon on September 20th. Molly and Brandon shared how they leveraged Twitter and a next-generation pop-up shop at SXSW to generate over 23 million social media impressions for their client, Hershey’s TAKE5 Bar. We gained insight on how they modernizing the trick-or-treat experience and they discussed how their strategy elevated the Uber model to bring surprise vehicles to riders and remixed the idea of candy packaging by providing party-goers with a DJ toolset on their TAKE5 boxes.

Barkley developed a remix brand strategy for TAKE5 targeting the millennials’ hearts. Molly And Brandon’s presentation was rated “excellent” by a room filled with Omaha advertising, marketing and communication professionals.
