Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc. to Sponsor the 2017
National Student Advertising Competition

150 schools from across the country slated to compete by developing a winning advertising campaign for Ajinomoto Windsor’s Tai Pei Frozen Asian Entrées and Appetizers.

WASHINGTON, DC, August 22, 2016—The American Advertising Federation (AAF) is excited to announce its partnership with Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc. (AWI) as the 2017 sponsor of the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC.) AWI has 14 brands and product lines in its portfolio and is one of the largest producers of ethnic frozen foods, including Tai Pei Frozen Asian Entrées and Appetizers.

As a leader in the frozen food category, the California-based company values new ideas and innovation. AWI recognizes the NSAC’s ability to provide thousands of fresh marketing concepts and insights from millennials on how to effectively communicate with a specific market. Over the next academic year, thousands of college students will conduct research and use their findings to customize a comprehensive solution to a real-life marketing challenge for Tai Pei.

“We are very proud to sponsor this year’s NSAC. The students who participate in this competition are among the best young marketing minds in the country and we are excited to see what insights they uncover and the creative and innovative ideas they develop,” said Warren Martin, Senior Director of Marketing at Ajinomoto-Windsor.

Every year, more than 3,000 students on campuses across the country participate in the NSAC, with each school competing first at the district level before moving on to a semi-final round. From there, the eight best campaigns vie for the national title at AAF’s national conference, ADMERICA, which will be held in New Orleans, June 8-10, 2017.

“Ajinomoto Windsor values innovation and promotes teamwork and high-performance. The brand is perfectly aligned with the goals of the NSAC and we’re extremely excited to have them as our 2017 sponsor,” said Constance Cannon Frazier, Chief Operating Officer, American Advertising Federation. “We are confident that the insights provided by our teams will help increase AWI’s brand awareness and strengthen Tai Pei’s brand loyalty.”
