ANGEL CARL RECEIVES AAF OMAHA’S HIGHEST HONOR

OMAHA, NE (March 12, 2019)   Angel Carl, president of Angel Carl Marketing, received the American Advertising Federation Omaha’s (AAF Omaha) top honor, the Silver Medal. The award was presented to Carl during the 2019 American Advertising Awards | Nebraska ADDYs show, Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Rococo Theatre in Lincoln.

The Silver Medal is given to an AAF Omaha member who has achieved success in his or her career, has shown a consistently high degree of creative and original thinking in work endeavors, has strived to increase the stature and raise the standards of the advertising profession and has been active in civic groups, including AAF Omaha itself.

Carl has held numerous volunteer board positions with AAF Omaha over the past 20 years. Most notably, Carl served as the federation’s president in 2001 and 2002, chaired the AAF District 9 Spring Conference in 2000 and chaired the federation’s public service initiatives in the late 1990’s and again from 2014 through 2016. Some of the many public service projects she has worked on include the Omaha 2000 Early Childhood Education project, Heartland Hope Mission and the Coalition on Human Trafficking. Carl received an AAF National Silver Bell Award for the Omaha 2000 Early Childhood Education Champaign and was honored in 2005 as AAF Omaha’s Ad Pro of the Year. Carl continues to moderate and present during AAF Omaha educational events and programs. Most recently she was a moderator at Omaha’s first ON Brand conference held in July of 2018.

Carl is a tenured marketing professional, with vast advertising agency and client-side marketing experience including Bozell and Right at Home. She has worked for and with advertising agencies, both as a marketing professional and as a client.

Her involvement in the community is just as impressive as her professional resume. She has been active with Youth Emergency Services (YES) for more than 14 years and currently serves as the organization’s President of the Board of Trustees. In addition, Angel serves on the board of directors for the Coalition on Human Trafficking and the Omaha Lithuanian American Community.
