WASHINGTON DC, August 27, 2018—AAF President & CEO James Edmund Datri announced today: “Dawn Reeves has joined the American Advertising Federation’s national staff as our organization’s Vice President of Club Services Membership & Programs. Dawn’s involvement with the AAF professional club network began nearly two decades ago when she served in multiple leadership roles with AAF Birmingham, later as District 7 Governor, and currently as the Immediate Past Chair of the Council of Governors. She is also credited with being among the Council of Governors officers who created AAF University. Dawn is a proven and exceptional leader, respected throughout our club network, and I am so happy she is joining our national staff Team in this very important post.”In addition to her work with the Federation, Dawn offers 25 years of corporate experience and insight, most notably as the owner of Well S@id and as Senior Vice President of Advertising with RealtySouth, a Berkshire Hathaway company.
In her role at AAF’s national office, Dawn will be responsible for ensuring that AAF professional club members receive value for their membership and are engaged with the organization’s many programs such as the American Advertising Awards, Club Achievement Awards and ADMERICA. She will also focus on identifying opportunities for professional club members to further engage with students through the AAF’s college chapters and its National Student Advertising Competition and its corporate members through programs such as the Day on the Hill, Advertising Hall of Fame and Advertising Hall of Achievement.
