NEW WORK SERVING HOMELESS IN NEW MEXICO
Omaha, Neb. (Dec. 12, 2023)-Jeffrey Maciejewski, owner of Elemental WRITING+DESIGN, shares new work done for Interfaith Community Shelter (https://interfaithsheltersf.org), in Santa Fe, N.M.
The Fall Appeal he strategized, wrote and designed, consisted of a 1,500-piece mailing and supporting social posts. All deliverables needed to reflect the look of the website; but Maciejewski felt the shelter needed to introduce its guests to donors, for them to meet real people being served by Interfaith. Moreover, he said it was important for recipients to know that many in Santa Fe’s homeless community simply won’t go to the shelter, so Interfaith is taking active steps to meet people who need them wherever they are in the city.
Thus far, donations are far above last year and include a whopping $24,000 gift. The social posts Maciejewski wrote and designed increased engagement by 66 percent and increased reach by more than 370 percent.
Maciejewski launched his freelance marketing, writing and design studio in September after retiring from Creighton University, where he taught advertising for 23 years, and after a brief stint at Anderson Partners, where he found out how tough it was to be an agency project manager.
Maciejewski is actively looking for new marketing, writing or design work. Please take a minute to visit Elemental WRITING+DESIGN (http://elementalwd.co) to see more of his work, or reach out to him by email at jeff@elementalwd.co.
