Ethics Event on June 8th, Launch of CEAE Program in 2021

May 13, 2020

Dear Members and Supporters of the AAF:

In a time of massive change, new technologies, a post-Coronavirus business landscape, and sweeping regulatory developments, there has never been a better time to become involved in issues of advertising ethics, trust and transparency.

We are excited to share the following updates from the Institute of Advertising Ethics:

  • On June 8, 2020 the IAE will be convening its first Inaugural Symposium virtually. The symposium will include a “Data & Ethics” roundtable followed by conversations with executives from from MasterCard, Omnicom, Microsoft, the Attorney General of California, the American Advertising Federation, and others.
    Register for the symposium.
  • The Certified Ethical Advertising Executive (CEAE) program, set to be released in 2021. The CEAE will be a first-of-its-kind in the industry and will be designed with cohesive input from brands, media, agencies, ethicists, technologists, government officials, and supporters like you.

This programming supports the IAE’s mission to inspire and enable marketing professionals to practice the highest form of personal ethics in the creation and dissemination of advertising to consumers.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the planning and standards development committees, as an IAE Trust Ambassador, please contact us at ethics@aaf.org by May 20.

Thank you once again.

Sincerely,

Wally Snyder
