Five Things You Didn’t Know About Alli Carlson

Hello! My name is Alli Carlson, I’ve been a member of AAF Omaha for 2 years. I joined the Special Events committee in the fall of 2015, and joined the board as Special Events Co-Chair this past year. I am a Senior Account Executive at Redstone where I’ve worked for a little over 2 years. I had dreamed of working at an advertising agency and after gaining experience in the credit union industry in my home-state of Minnesota, and the non-profit world here in Omaha, I’m happy to have landed at Redstone. I enjoy the fast-paced agency lifestyle and getting to work with awesome clients every day.

What do you do in your free time? Any hobbies?

My husband and I like to build furniture and other décor pieces for our home, and for friends and family members.

What was your first job?

My first job was a cashier at TJ Maxx. I loved helping people pick items out for their homes, closets, you name it. I even helped a bride pick out her wedding jewelry once!

Favorite AAF Event to Attend

Bowl-A-Rama! It’s fun to get the AAF community together for a fun night out. Our team never wins, but we always try for style points.

What apps are on your home screen?

Pinterest is the most-used app on my home screen. It’s my go-to for recipes, DIY ideas, everything!

If you could be anyone in the world for a day, who would you be and why?

Joanna Gaines. I would just love to spend the whole day dreaming up and designing a home and styling the whole thing. Or maybe I want to be Chip Gaines so I could hang out with Joanna all day. Either one would make for a wonderful day.
