Five Things You Didn’t Know About Ann Woodford

Hey all! My name is Ann Woodford and I am currently the Marketing Design Coordinator (the graphic designer) for Goodwill here in Omaha.

I was born and raised here in South Omaha and only left for a brief four years to attend the Art Institute of Las Vegas where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design. I have been involved in AAF Omaha for about a year now and I currently sit on the board and co-chair the Communications Committee.

What is your passion in life?
My passion in life is having fun and designing. Anything from invites for friends, to billboards for work. I just really enjoy designing anything. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family.

Cats or dogs?
Dogs for sure!

What’s your favorite place to vacation?
I’m always up for a good stay-cation at home, but put me on a beach, and it will be in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

Favorite AAF event to attend?
I haven’t been to all events quite yet, but so far I love the Lunch & Learns.

What was your first job?
My first job was a groundskeeper at the Henry Doorly Zoo. Besides the whole picking up trash thing, it was pretty awesome getting to walk the zoo and see all the animals while I got paid.

What’s your favorite commercial currently on TV?
Heinz Ketchup & Mustard Super Bowl ads with the wiener dogs in hotdog costumes. Seriously, how could one not love that commercial?
