Iridian’s President, Dan Douglas is a people-person and entrepreneur who believes in the importance of building strong and lasting relationships. Born and raised here in Omaha, Dan has strong ties with our community and has been a small business owner for more than 15 years, taking over as president of Iridian in 2010. Dan is inspired by uniquely talented people and those who can overcome fears and reservations to accomplish a goals. Dan’s team at Iridian are a mix of creative and strategic thinkers who bring experience, passion, and fun to every project they take on.
In his free time, Dan enjoys movie watching, listening to music, cheering on the Creighton Bluejays, and spending time with his wife and three children.
Dan currently serves on the AAF Omaha Board of Directors and is co-chairing AAF Omaha’s involvement with the American Advertising Awards – Nebraska ADDYs . To be the President of Iridian!
What’s your favorite place to vacation?
Hawaii! The North Shore of Oahu, we went there for our Honeymoon 8 years ago. The most beautiful place on Earth!

The Nebraska ADDYs
What are your thoughts on France’s ban on answering work emails after 6 pm?
I like it the spirit of the rule… balance is important in all aspects of life.
Favorite brand mascot?
Not exactly a mascot, but my dad had a Cadillac Coup de Ville when I was a kid so I always loved Cadillac’s and their logo. I even bought a 1967 Cadillac Eldorado when I was in my 20’s.
