Hello! My name is Sean Heisler and I’m a co-chair for the AAFO Special Events committee. I am a Senior Art Director at Webster where I design and direct artwork for a wide range of clients involving branding, logo design, web design, advertising, etc. I’ve been with Webster for 20 years and have been there since graduating from college at Iowa State University.
Favorite AAF event to attend?
My favorite AAF event to attend would have to be Bowl-A-Rama. It’s a lot of fun and I used to bowl in leagues when I was younger. I’m able to rack up a couple strikes here and there if I’m having a decent night and had less than a beer. After a couple beer’s it all goes downhill.
Cats or dogs?
Definitely dogs. We have cats as well, but with the constant throwing up and generally crabby demeanor, I’ll stick with my friendly dogs who actually like me and don’t throw up hardly at all.
What was your first job?
My very first job was working at a hospital in my home town. I helped prepare meals for patients and then had the glorious job of cleaning off trays from patients after they had finished eating.
What do you do in your free time? Any hobbies?
I’m a bit of a homebody and enjoy doing little projects around the house and like DIY. I have three kids and they keep me very busy. I’m quite passionate about design and am often working on projects at home or experimenting. I’m also a big craft beer fan and enjoy big Russian imperial stouts.
What’s your favorite commercial currently on TV?
I like the Geico commercial with Ice T. “What’s with these people, man. It’s lemonade!”
