Helping the Jays take flight.

Omaha, Neb. (January 13, 2022)

“It blows you away when you first see it.” That’s how coach Greg McDermott describes the new Creighton men’s basketball locker room at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. Their new environment combines the excitement and energy of the Creighton brand while maximizing the space to its fullest potential.

Creighton University selected Daake, a brand agency with significant experience in college athletics branding, to rethink and rebrand the Creighton men’s basketball locker room facilities at the CHI Health Center Omaha. Daake engaged MCL Construction to remodel the existing locker room and RENZE to help bring the brand concept to life.

Players and recruits walk through the hallway that is immersed with blue lighting and graphics. Coach McDermott mentioned he’s been to a lot of NBA arenas and he hasn’t seen anything like this. Floor-to-ceiling graphics along with backlit logos, dimensional lettering, and expressive uses of messaging and color all help leverage the Creighton brand to its fullest potential.

Concludes McDermott, “I think we really knocked it out of the park.” Please click here to see project photos and a short video.
