Omaha’s award-winning comprehensive branding and design firm DAAKE is pleased to announce Katie Jo Huckins is joining the team as Junior Creative.
“Katie has a wide range of experience, an eye for details and a genuine appreciation for the collaborative relationships we build with our clients,” says DAAKE Principal and Creative Director Greg Daake. “She brings a distinct perspective to our already dynamic creative team.”
Born in Sioux Falls, S.D., Katie is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she studied advertising and English. She later earned an associate’s degree in graphic communication and design from Metropolitan Community College.
Her experience includes a variety of communications and graphic design positions with several firms, ranging from a one-person shop to a large, national advertising agency where her duties included directing the production, execution and delivery of social media concepts. DAAKE clients will benefit from Katie’s strong organizational skills, which make her uniquely qualified to coordinate creative projects through each phase of the design process.
“This is my dream job,” Katie says of her role at DAAKE. “I’m eager to take on our clients’ problems and be part of a team that develops exciting solutions. This is exactly where I want to be professionally.”
