The Nebraska Unicameral kicked off the 107th Legislature on January 6, 2021. On Day 8 of the session over 500 new bills and resolutions had been presented with a couple days of session to continue to introduce new bills. There are a few bills that we are following that could potentially impact the advertising community. Your AAF Legislative Committee will keep you posted on pending legislation.
In other news, Joe Biden officially becomes the 48th President of the United States on January 21, 2021. This will be a historic moment for the United States, as Kamala Harris becomes the first female, African-American and Asian-American Vice President.
