The American Advertising Federation Omaha (AAF Omaha) is the unifying voice for advertising in the Omaha/Council Bluffs metropolitan area. As advocates for the rights of advertisers, our club members educate policy makers, the media and the general public on the value advertising brings to the well-being of our community.

Our industry makes a great impact on Nebraska’s economy. A study done recently by the world-recognized economic consulting firm HIS Global Insight highlights the sales activity and the jobs created in the U.S economy that are stimulated by advertising. Research shows advertising expenditures account for $34.2 billion in economic output in Nebraska. In 2014 advertising driven sales of products and services helped support 155,817 jobs in Nebraska.
I can’t stress enough the importance to stay informed and involved in Advertising politics. We all have a vested interest in our industry and it is our job to be the voice to represent it. I encourage you to contact your representatives, seek out relevant news and continue to educate your peers.
