Postcards have been the subject of songs, souvenirs from trips and in Jay Durmaskin’s case, a source of client’s direct marketing muscle.
As Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at DBS Burke, Durmaskin works with ad agencies, creatives and companies to print mailing pieces, effective postcards and targeted direct mailing campaigns. While printing and mailing is their specialty, they have resources to assist with creative design as well. DBS Burke is a locally owned shop offering full service campaigns including locating zip code specific mailing lists.
DBS Burke is a commercial printer focusing on marketing and transactional mail. They have been in business for more than 30 years, with 15 employees spanning over 100 years of experience.
Fond of pickleball and traveling with M’Lee, his life partner for 10 years, he is frequently seen at area networking events including Center Sphere Wake and Cake and Omaha Networking Professionals. He is also active with the Omaha Senior Resource Group, West Omaha Business Executives, the Omaha Chamber’s President’s Club and the West Omaha Chamber.
A veteran entrepreneur, a former franchise support representative and later co-owner of ShelfGenie Omaha, he understands the challenges and complexities of small businesses and has worked with mid-size companies and large corporate concerns.
DBS Burke specializes in digital printing and data processing. Personalized mail marketing for clients maximizes marketing return on investments. Recently, he is championing DBS Exclusives, a targeted direct mail piece sent to targeted zip codes, promoting multiple businesses in two sizes of ads, on one internally created mailing piece. At a relatively small investment, category exclusive companies can advertise their services, products and retail outlets.
