ON Brand Conference Brings Together Professionals for Purposeful Conversations and Meaningful Development

Four area professional networking groups team up to host unique event for advertising, communications, graphic design, marketing and PR professionals

OMAHA, Neb. (July 5, 2022) – For the first time in two years, the local ON Brand Conference will gather hundreds of professionals for purposeful conversations and meaningful professional development focused around the event’s theme, “ON Brand. On Purpose.” Attendees are invited to Scott Conference Center on Thursday, July 21 to network, grow and get inspired.

“As creators, marketers, designers and communicators, we have a lot of power in what goes out in the world and how our own communities think about issues,” said Lauren Laferla, president of PRSA Nebraska. “In deciding to host this conference in person again this year, we wanted to purposefully gather and focus on how to move conversations forward that help our audiences, our clients and our communities.”

The ON Brand 2022 speaker line-up features local leaders and nationally recognized individuals who will inspire attendees on multiple aspects of branding, strategy, design, social media and more. This year’s keynote speakers include:

  • Abbey Buergler, CRM Director at Barkley
  • George Garrastegui, Jr., Design Educator and Host of “Works in Process” Podcast
  • Keni Thacker, Chief Creative Officer at 100 Roses from Concrete

Local speakers include representatives from ACLU of Nebraska, BFF Omaha, Blue Compass, Cox Media, Opendorse and Webberized Media.

ON Brand provides our community a look into fresh ideas and collaborations in the creative and communications space. This conference is worth the investment for any individual. The content is extremely valuable, and the networking is icing on the cake,” said Ann Woodford, president of American Advertising Federation Nebraska.

The fourth annual event is co-hosted by local chapters of American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), American Advertising Federation (AAF), American Marketing Association (AMA), and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
