Submissions are Now Open for Project Yellow Light

AAF is proud to continue our partnership with Project Yellow Light, a non-profit dedicated to remembering the life of Hunter Garner, a 16-year-old who lost his life in 2007 to a distracted driver.

Each year, Project Yellow Light hosts a competition for both high school and college students for billboard, radio, and video submissions aimed at encouraging safe driving. Students have the option to enter in one or all the categories for the chance to receive a scholarship up to $8,000 as well as the possibility for their submissions to be shared as an anti-distracted driving public service announcement.

Billboard submissions are due March 1, 2026, and Video/Radio submissions are due April 1, 2026. Interested students can learn more about the project and submission process at the link below.
