Each year, the American Advertising Federation Omaha hosts a holiday party and silent auction to benefit a worthy, local non-profit organization. This holiday season, AAF Omaha is supporting The Coalition to Prevent Human Trafficking.
The Coalition to Prevent Human Trafficking was created to raise awareness on human trafficking. The Coalition includes professionals from other social service groups from the community such as Catholic Charities, the Omaha Archdiocese, Heartland Family Service, Project Harmony, Midland Family Services, the Women’s Fund and local and federal law enforcement, including the State’s Attorney Generals Office and the Douglas County Sheriff’s office.
The Coalition has collectively identified their mission as teaching the general public to Realize, Recognize and Respond with the ultimate goal to eliminate the crime of human trafficking in our area. We are asking for your support by providing an item, or a basket full of donations, to be auctioned off or used as a “chance-to-win” item at the December 8 event. Your donation will be recognized in materials that promote the AAF Omaha Holiday Party and at the event.
